Why Hi Friend.
The gap is real.
I know because I lived in it.
My husband Ryan was diagnosed with a TBI and early-onset Alzheimer's at 33. Thirty-three years old.
There was no onboarding. No one handed me a guide at the neurologist's office. No scripts for the conversation about the car keys, or the banking app, or the fifth time that day he asked me the same question. I found every resource on my own. I wrote every script myself. I made every safety decision alone, in real time, with no framework and no support.
What I did not know then was that this is not a rare experience. It is the standard one. There are thousands of caregivers navigating TBI, early-onset Alzheimer's, and combat-related dementia right now. All of them starting from zero on day one.
Hi Friend exists because that gap is not acceptable.
No caregiver should have to piece this together alone.
